They are really, simply !, wonderful !!!
- chicken liver, about 500g
- 1-2 white onions
- a sprig of green onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- a glass of white wine
- a tablespoon of tomato juice or broth
- spices to taste: salt, basil, oregano, chili
- a few cloves of garlic (I used a whole head)
Servings: 4
Preparation time: less than 90 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Aromatic chicken liver:
Heat the onion and pepper, add the liver and let them penetrate easily over low heat. Season (a full teaspoon of each spice, although it is advisable to keep the taste you want, so as not to fall to the other extreme). We put the wine and the sliced garlic and let it simmer enough. Add the tomato juice / broth, keep it on the fire for about 10-15 minutes and you're done!
We serve it warm, plain or with a garnish of mashed potatoes. Enjoy your meal!
