Cream - mix whipped cream and sour cream (in different bowls). Add the cream over the whipped cream (from which I stopped a little for decoration), add the pomegranate juice and mix / stir until incorporated.

Method of preparation:

Using a mixer, beat the eggs and sugar together for 4 minutes at medium speed. Reduce the speed of the mixer and gradually add the olive oil, orange juice, orange peel, vanilla and almond essence.

In another bowl combine flour, ground almonds, baking powder, salt and cardamom.

With the mixer back on low speed, gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, alternating with the milk. Pour the obtained composition into the prepared trays and bake them for 25 minutes, or until they pass the toothpick test. Let them cool on a grill.

For the icing, mix the powdered sugar with the pomegranate juice, gradually one teaspoon at a time. In this way we can control how much liquid we want the glaze.

We use a knife to level the countertops, if they have grown unevenly. Pour a little glaze between the countertops and the rest on top, on the last layer. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and serve. Bon appetit to Delights!

Pomegranate has a lot of health benefits, so it is recommended to be part of your diet. However, you don't have to be content to eat pomegranate as such - you can prepare many recipes with pomegranate, starting from salads and sauces, to smoothies and ice cream!

First of all, you need to know how to clean pomegranate quickly and efficiently. Put on an apron first of all, to make sure you don't stain your clothes with pomegranate juice while cleaning it.

With a very sharp knife, remove the top, but also the bottom, of the fruit. Then, grow the pomegranate from the bottom up, in 4 different places & ndash as if you divided it into 4. You will not cut the pulp, but only the peel.

Then fill a bowl with cold water, remove the pomegranate peel and put the pomegranate in the water. Then use your fingers to detach the pomegranate seeds from the fruit membrane. The grains will be left on the bottom of the vessel, and the broken membranes will rise to the surface.

At the end, strain the water from the bowl, so that you are left with only the pomegranate seeds.

Put the salad mix in a bowl, add the pomegranate seeds, red onion, feta cheese and chopped walnuts.

Prepare the dressing by mixing mustard, vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice and peel, but also salt and pepper in a small bowl. Pour the dressing over the salad and serve immediately.

Smoothie with beets and pomegranate

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup spinach

Put all the ingredients in a blender, then turn them into a smoothie. Pour the drink into two glasses and serve immediately.

Pomegranate ice cream, made of 5 ingredients

  • 1 & frac12 cup of pomegranate juice
  • 2 cups liquid cream
  • 4 yolks
  • & frac34 cup of brown sugar
  • & frac12 teaspoon of vanilla essence

Mix all the ingredients, put them in a saucepan and simmer. Stir occasionally until heated through. Turn off the heat before boiling, then allow the mixture to cool. After that, pour the cream obtained in a container that you will put in the freezer. After 12 hours, remove the ice cream and put it in the blender, then turn it on. Then transfer the ice cream obtained back to the container and leave it in the freezer for another 12 hours.

For me, the craving for sweets means, most of the time, that I have to eat chocolate. It is incorporated with a spatula, by overturning, very easily so as not to remove the air from the foam. Pour the dough obtained in trays greased with butter and sprinkled with flour and bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. It will swell a lot, but when it cools, it will leave. In the end, we will have a dense, creamy and chocolate cake.

Melt the chocolates. First pour a layer of dark chocolate and cover the entire surface of the cake. Then with the help of a spoon or posh, we make a few strips of white chocolate. Sprinkle pomegranate seeds on the cake. If we want, we also place a few strawberries as a final touch.
