I think each of you has a recipe for cherry jam ... This is mine ....

  • 5 kg of cherries
  • 2 kg of sugar
  • jars with lids

Servings: -

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Cherry jam:

Wash the cherries, break their tails and let the water drain from them.

Remove the seeds with the special device and put the cherries in a bowl in which we put the sugar. If you want it to be even sweeter, you can add another 0.5 kg of sugar.

Leave the cherries with the sugar to melt in the evening until the next morning.

Put them in a pan to boil, stirring constantly until the composition thickens. The formed foam is taken with a spoon. When the jam is ready, mix well and put the hot jam in jars, put the lid on and leave them for 5 minutes with the lid down. .

I put a thick blanket in a box and place the jars of jam in it. I cover them well with another blanket and leave them there until they cool down (a day or two) then I put them in the pantry.

Great appetite .... in winter!
