Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten seems to be playing off ABC Kitchen's success, creating an ABC Cocina to take the Kitchen's locavore approach and make it Latin.

"We will have paella, croquettas, a lot of small plates," Vongerichten told Grub Street. Considering that Pipa is currently a Spanish tapas restaurant with a "Latin flair," we can imagine the food will be similar, but perhaps on the spicier side. "I have worked so much with Asian food and this is the same latitude, so you find cilantro and chiles. Chiles are my passion now.," he said.
