Since I made carrot sauces last time, I keep thinking about the pea version and especially that I have good peas from my dear parents in the garden. This dish is super tasty, especially in combination with a light chicken meat.
- 4 large carrots
- 300 gr frozen peas (I always have peas in my parents' garden in the freezer)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 250 ml vegetable soup
- salt and pepper to taste
- chopped green parsley
Servings: 4
Preparation time: less than 60 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Sauteed carrots with peas:
We clean and wash the carrots. Cut each carrot in three, then cut each piece lengthwise into 3-4 and cut the sticky carrots.
Put the carrots in a pan in which we melted the butter. Add a little salt and pepper and leave for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, then add the peas and leave for another 5 minutes, stirring.
Pour over the carrot and pea vegetable soup and let it boil until the liquid drops.
Remove from the heat and add chopped green parsley.
We can serve the vegetables as such or with breaded or grilled chicken breast.
